This is obviously a terrible pic taken quickly, for fear the staff would think I was a weirdo. What you can't see is the king can bobbing in the corner of the tank.
I thought this would be as good a time as any to give a friendly reminder that it is illegal to drink in the UAE without an alcohol license. It can be a very big headache – a nightmare, even – to be caught drinking without one. They are easy to obtain through Abu Dhabi Police. Get one today!

I don't know about you guys in Abu-Dhabi but here in Dubai, we can go to a (hotel) bar, have a few stiff ones, and walk out. As for the headache or nightmare, it all depends on what we gulp! LOL.
Ah Kyle, it's the same in Abu Dhabi. The trouble starts when people run across the law - which can happen for a variety of reasons. Say, for example, the taxi you are in gets in an accident. The first thing they'll do is charge you for drinking illegally! It happens in Dubai too, all the time. Seriously, you never know!
I never looked at the scenario from the way you described it but I guess I'll have to now. After all, one can never be too cautious even while in a (liberal!!) city such as Dubai.
Muchas Gracias for the heads up :)
You be good.
Have you been to Cho Gao, Crowne Plaza? You look very familiar btw.
Sheikh Zayed owned a vineyard in France.
Just saying'.
