Tim Hortons in Abu Dhabi: Moe the commenter investigates, does not like what he finds

Sad news update:

I was just at the Tim Hortons in Mushrif Mall; its still under construction. the door was slightly open so i looked inside; there is absolutely nothing there. Bare ceilings and walls. no counters, no chairs, no kitchen, not even paint to cover the wall bricks. This is gonna take at least 2 months to complete.

Who gives a rat's arse? Canadian food? Nothing that is traditionally Canadian is worth eating, unless one is starving, and perhaps not even then. Poutine? That mess is a lot like most of the Canadian journalists that work at my newspaper, The National. (On the other hand, Canadians, who are mortally lacking in elegance and discernment, are perfect for the UAE, so bring on the nonsense!)

I grew up in Buffalo NY, so I know Tim Hortons and was excited to hear they were coming here to AD. It's really sad though that they're taking their time with the store set up, I was really looking forward to it opening.
