Today in the UAE: Giant octopus, Djinn and edible mosque edition

You go to work thinking it's going to be a normal Tuesday, other than the post-vacation jet-lag that is drying out your eyeballs. And then, like magic, a trifecta of fun news drops in your inbox. And everything is different.

As if it wasn't enough that there is now a giant octopus, 4.3 metres tall (long??) and weighing 70kg at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo...


...the UAE's first horror film, Djinn, is coming to e-Life video-on-demand from July 29 until August 30 (eek!)...

...and the Hilton Abu Dhabi's pastry team has built a giant, edible chocolate version of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the lobby for Eid. Those gold details are very tempting.
